Animated profile picture

I've seen a couple people with animated profile pictures and I think its so cool, but everytime I try to upload an animation of my own im unsuccessful. If you could guide me with steps that would be lovely! Thank you in advance

  I think what you may be seeing is GIF files. I believe we allow users to upload GIFs on our website and Android app (and not iOS app). Is that the type of file you tried to upload using either our website or Android app?
